any you dudes got idears to make my truck wheel stand? its a ford thames 15 cwt this is uk stuff ok.

Sure, move the differential forward in the truck like some of the first funny cars. Do a search for funnies of the mid-60's. Also Factory Experimental, A-FX, etc.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

One word---Ballast! Put sandbags as far back as possible. The extra traction and disturbed balance will do the trick if you have any power under the hood (Bonnet?). Just don't come crying to me when something snaps!
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
