    Question wheel spindle bolts

     



    what are your opinions on when you should
    replace the spindle bolts?i have had my 57
    for 19 years and i have not replaced one of
    the spindle bolts,doe's anyone know if there
    is a history of these breaking after a certain
    time. thanks for your opinions.

    If it works, don't fix it! Those old Chevys don't break in normal use, as long as everything is tight. When stuff gets banging, thats when it breaks. That said, if you've got some heavy iron up front and use her hard, new stuff is good for peace of mind.
