    Strangae Looking I Beam

I PULLED A FORD DESIGN FRONT I BEAM SUSPENSION OUT OF A FARMER'S HAY WAGON FOR $25, IT HAS BIG BENDIX (I THINK) BRAKES AND THE I BEAM HAS A DIFFERENT SMILE, FROM SPRING HOLE TO SPRING HOLE THE AXLE IS DROPPED INBETWEEN ABOUT AN INCH LOWER THAN THE 40 UNDER A MODEL A BOX TRAILER I TRADED FOR. THE DROP CENTER DOESN'T DROP RIDE HEIGHT JUST IS SHAPED DIFFERENT ANY HELP TO IDENTIFY WHAT IT CAME FROM? MAYBE A LINCOLN OR ZEPHER?

Would you have a pic to post Tim??? Also, could you lose the caps?? Around here it means you're yelling. No big deal, just wanted to mention it.

bent I-beams = how they use to adjust front end

say , what you have there is a bent I-beam.
Shops use to thake a strange looking tool & bend tthose suckers.
I bet that's what you have.
    try this site:
    Slick 60's .com , for 60- 66 F-100 's only....

the funny i beam is the 32 to 48 style pass car with wishbone and tie rods. I am working in calif until july, the stuff is at my farm shop in the unita's Utah, its not a alignment bend but about 2 inches from each spring perch hole it is contoured for about a 1 inch smile drop. my kids have a d camera, i'll get pict's when i go up for the summer< I just finally got a cell phone cause i had 2 heart attacks, not because i wanted to jabber to anyone

Pics would definetely help. I thought they only started using Twin or I beams from 65 and up? Not sure but yeah pics would help and Slick 60's is the place to go for info like that on those Fords. There's a great bunch of guys there to help you out a lot! Not saying noone here will help but their main focus there is Fords.
    Good luck!
