well what i did was use the vise method. You get a large socket on one end and one that is the exact size of the bushing on the other, put them in between the vise and twist. It comes out very easy. The problem is getting them back in. If you have something to heat them up it would be easier to put them back in.
In all the trouble it would be, it would be better to take to a shop, take off the control arms and have'em pressed.
I am currently in a rebuild phase i had small probs but everything is ready to go except for putting the springs/shocks in. That will be done tommrow. Sadly i broke off a collar bolt on the passenger upper control arm. 40 ft/lb.......
What i did was press the bushings out myself using the vise and then took them to a shop to get pressed.Dreams cost money, but they are worth it, do it right the first time.
