This afternoon I got the frame out from under my 52 and am getting ready to make a few changes. MII is out of the question so I've been considering my options. I am looking hard at using the front clip from an S10. It is narrower than the mid 70's Nova or Camaro and there is a lot of reasonably priced parts such as dropped spindles, bushings, etc available for them. Also can use the rear axle and suspension as well as brake master cylinder and a bunch of other parts from the donor vehicle. I haven't seen a lot on this swap so is there a big negative on it? I've found a nice LWB truck (without engine) that I can get for $100 and am ready to get it unless somebody talks me out of it. Just so you know, I'll be using a slightly warmed over Cadillac 425 engine and turbo 400 trans.
