"1) Ream out the ball joint holes on the spindle it doesn't take much."
Use a tapered reamer matched to the taper of the ball joint studs. I found one at Speedway Motors when I was fabbing up a custom front end. (1 1/2" per ft. taper, cost me $75.)PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
