    mustang II IFS springs ?

i have a TCI IFS on my 53 chevy and i was wondering how tight the coil spring usually are on these things. without the motor in the springs are putting soo much pressure on the ball joints that i cant turn the wheels by hand. when i have the motor setting in there ( big block ) a guy has to bounce up and down on the frame fairly violently to get the suspension to go up and down, and it isnt very much. hopfully you can see in my pic that there is also a nice bow in the springs also. seems to stiff for me but i dont know for sure. wish i could drive it and find out.
