Question Mustang coil over front suspension

Has anyone ever put a Mustang suspension on a '81 Ford P/U? It currently has the twin I-beam on it.

hi Art i think the II front end is about 6 inches too narrow for a easy swap. but if weight is no big deal the 80 and up ltd front clip is very close and do able, in fact i have been measureing up to do a similar swap. hope this helps. Ives rdhotfrd
