Well I certainly wouldn't buy them new unless I was rich and could afford to just up and buy crap like that. For that price I could find an SS for sell around here in "hick ville" Florida! Was thinking more along the lines of finding one sitting somewhere beyond repair or finding a recked one that isn't necessarily damaged in places that I need the parts.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to upping the power in this 4.3 liter? I think one of the more serious problems is the drivetrain. The auto tranny is sluggish with changing gears and the rear end is pretty crappy I'm sure. Want to upgrade to a V8 but I think before I do that I am gonna get my Charger running!
