Ford oil sending unit
What purpose does that hex extension serve on the windsor motors? I want to run a oil temp guage, and I am unsure about what I need. Are the newer motors with the sensor screwed directly into the block just for "dummie light" sensors?Andy

Do the guages usually come with senders/sensors?
I plan to use Autometer Ultra-lites.Andy

I recently bought a set of the Ford Racing guages, 5 piece
with the speedo....they came with the senders and all...
....everything needed, including the gas gauge sender.
