Question Anyone use Sunchaser's "The Friction System"

Starting to get into body work on my truck and saw this guy up at Hot August Nights. I have very little (read basically none) experience with metal working and would like to do as much of the work myself as possible. Has anyone used this system? Does it work? From what I saw at HAN it works but that was in the hands of a very experienced operator. How difficult is it?Would this be a good investment?

Here is a link to what I am talking about.
