Update: started putting it back together after a trip to the Auto parts store. Had to order the Carb Spacer and what I think was a Heat Sensor that screwed into the side of the Head? Anyway that took way to long as the parts didnt pull up in the computer and had to be looked up in a book.

Got home and took the old lifters out and inserted the new ones after coating in oil? Is that the correct way to install these?

Wiped everyting down again with degreaser and laid the Head Gaskets down. Got the first Head back on no problem, caught the 2nd and buggered up the gasket. Another trip to the Auto parts store and $18.00 later for another gasket I got the 2nd Head on. Did not tork them down as I forgot to pick up thread sealer.

Tightened up the two new exhaust manifold studs and repainted with high heat paint to touch them up.

Buy this time it was start'n to get dark so I cleaned up and headed off to bed. Couldnt get to sleep as I was going over everything in my head and I remembered I didnt see a Valve Seal on the bent valve I replaced and didnt put one on the new one? Do I need to pull the valve again to put the valve seal on if there wasnt one on the old one? or was there one and it had broken off?
