bone yard find with picture -- solenoids

don't know if anyone has posted this b4 but hereeeeeeee ya go..
was at the bone yard today gathering some more shit for my project & the sons V8-S10 project when i happen upon a S10 blazer.. what i found was a BIGG ASS solenoid in the rear tailgate that releases the latches on the tailgate so it can open. PLUS they have the bracket w/a pulley built on to it w/a cable built in. they measure about 4inches long & 1 3/4 across(total of about 3" across w/bracket). i dont know how many PSI they pull but it sure does give one hellva yank when i tested them. They are a one-way solenoid(pull only)and have a spring inside to push the cable back out.
I'm sure that they will open just about any latch & figgered i'd share this info w/all of you. happy hunting...joe

here's the pic....joe (well there would of been a pic IF my IMG code was turned on.. who keeps turning the damn thing off on me?????
