    wwhat effects will high oil level will cause ? aprox 2 qt

    Why not drain 2 quarts out so you don't have to find out?

    im asking will it cause lifters to lose prime or something.

    You'll likely whip air into the oil. Your hydraulic lifters don't like air bubbles, your bearings don't like air bubbles...................air bubbles don't lube as well as oil film.
