i recently rewired my 55 chevy belair with an EZ wiring harness and everything has gone pretty smooth, except for the turn signal and blinker stuff. THe EZ wiring has color coded wires and each wire is also labeled. i also installed a new turn signal wiring unit.
Here's how i have it hooked up from turn signal to harness wires:
white-white(brake switch)
yellow-yellow(left-rear)
pink-green(right-rear)
light blue-light blue(left-front signal/indicator)
dark blue-bark blue(right-front signal/indicator)
purple-purple(flasher)

I am almost 100% sure that this is the correct wiring, but when it is wired this way, here's what the result is:

With the turn signal arm pushed up(i.e, right turn) then i get the: (front right blinker, right indicator, and LEFT rear blinker)

With the turn signal pushed down, i get NOTHING!

When i press on the brake, i get only the left tailight.

i have tested each wire individually by touching each one to the flasher and everything works perfectly...when i tough the 'pink-green(right-rear)' wires to the purple, i get the right rear tailight blinking, etc, etc....all work as they are supposed to.
i have replaced the brake switch and have traced my wiring to the front blinkers and rear tailights and everything seems to be correct.

The only other thing i am having trouble with is my gas guage. i have a brand new tank/sender. it could be my guage...how can i test it?

please help me with any info or suggestion that you can!@!

thanks,
