Nice color!! We've got time for long stories, especially if they have pictures, too!!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Well to be as brief as I can the first shoot of color looked good but when I started spraying the clear I discovered all these paint flakes on the hood and back of cab. The 3m plastic sheeting I was using did not hold onto the base coat and it came flying off and stuck in the light mist of clear. There was no getting them out. I let it dry a while and sanded them down and sprayed more color. Now it was getting late and hot and the clear I mixed must have started curing because it wouldn't spray right. To sum it up the masking ruined it and the clear came out bad with some weird mottling, dry spray and orange peel and a couple runs because I added some thinner to try and make it flow. Basically a disaster. So sanded it all down and resprayed.Last edited by v8nutz; Yesterday at 04:31 PM.

That's going to be nice, like the color.
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
