Shouldnt be a problem. I would reccomend the springs for the V8 though, otherwise, your front end will set low and your ride will suffer.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

Pickups are designed to carry extra weight. The difference between the engines won't cause any problems. Do you notice any difference when you carry a passenger?" Im gone'

The springs on these trucks were the same no matter the engine. The differences in the suspension were due to load capability. C/10's used one control arm and C/20 and C/30 models used another. The same springs were used on all models and all engines (I-6 or V-8).
