I had that same problem with a 70's Mopar once turmed out to be the steering box to frame bolts were looseOriginally posted by 29 ford man
I just purchased a 29 ford 2 door sedan with a 283 auto it has a straight axle as i am driving down the street the steering wheel sterts shaking and i have to stop the car and start again in order for it to stop I jacked the front up and shook the wheel up and down and from side to side and every thing seemed tight do you think the problem is in the steering box
