www.Carnut.com says Chevy had there first -12 volt system in '55.

I like to take chances sometimes:LOL: :LOL: :LOL: , and even then the farthest I'll ever go is to saracuse to the Car show and, that's only approx 37 miles from our house in Savanah NY and, a little run down used tractor and lawn tractor sales and parts shop is right around the corner about 5-10 miles maby less. Course the drive up there is 3.5 hrs but, I can buy extra points and other simple ignitions system componets so if somtin does go wrong. Montazuma Winery is also down the road. our 2nd house probably isn't to far from your house and 37Chevy's also :D
It's getting dark, I can't wait to hotwire my green lights to see what they look like in the dark, I'll post pics to.
The lights arn't anything to be excited about, just looks like 2 green lights behind the grill, dosen't glow much at all.
What tranny fluid do I put in this old Powerglide? It's a little low and, I don't want to put the wrong trans fluid to burn up the tranny.
