I think the date code rule is seven years and the tire places aren't supposed to repair a flat. More of a concern is hearing about someone cruising on the highway ane an old tire blowing the sidewall or just coming apart, and them totaling the car. I haven't driven them much lately, and when I do it's local but local in KC means 65mph on the I35/I435 and feeder roads. To compound the problem I have three sets for the two cars, two on Cragars and one on steelies. I was just checking other's experiences, trying to feel better about buying 12 tires!!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
That is terrible, sad to hear about him.
