I saw the Model 50 designation too, but Hagerty shows it as a Model 01-C - https://www.hagerty.com/valuation-to...ford-model_01c
But then Greg Wapling's Car Spotter's Guide says it could be a Model 01-C, 02-C or 09-C depending on the original engine horsepower (85, 60 or 95 respectively) - 1940 Ford Truck and Commercial Identification, Model 01, 02, 09, 011, 014, 018, 022, 091, 094, 098 - Ford Spotters Guide
I'd say decide on your story for the original engine, then pick the Model that fits your story. I expect Hagerty uses the Model 01-C because the 85HP version was most common, but I don't know that for fact.Last edited by rspears; 06-24-2022 at 10:13 AM.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
