what's the thought on using steel tubing for gas line ? I have fuel injection rated line running from the tank to the pump and out to the Sniper EFI . its at 58 psi and return line back to tank . I have never had a line fail before but ? The lines are against the firewall and about 6" from the headers and engine, the temp at headers is 350+- (idle).temp at lines and fuel line was 130. Maybe some shielding would help ease my mind. Anybody run just fuel hose for their whole system ? I had aluminum line but it seemed to light and cracking was a thought.

Yep, on the '33 coupe my Edelbrock ProFlow XT "kit" came with everything needed to install including a 30' roll of flexible hose. A short piece from the in-trunk tank down to the frame mounted electric pump, pump to fuel rail w/regulator and a return from the other end of the fuel rail back to the tank. I think it's a 3/8" ID hose.Roger

I've used braided stainless steel with Russell AN fittings from an electric pump (at tank) to a regulator in the engine bay. Made correctly, it's rated at 2500PSI. Here's a pretty informative article:

Navy, I went back & looked. The hose Edelbrock sent was Russell EFI hose, 6AN size, rated 350psig. I found it very easy to work with - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/r...RoCrqYQAvD_BwERoger
