We built our Pinto funny car in 1971 with a Franklin Quick Change because of the lower drive shaft----our finished car height was only 47 inches----
Our rear engine dragster 1972 we built with a franklin center and a 3 inch Halibrand live axle shaft with a brake disc only on one side but with both calipers mounted --------after breaking a set of change gears and loosing to Snake when he had got back in the race on somebody elses break---we went to Ford 9 ers with 35 spline axles--------
We sold all the Franklin stuff to some sand racers--------
The QC will handle your hp easily---------you will need to be aware of the change in drive line angles because of the low pinion drive shaft-----By popular opinions-just a grumpy old man key board bully--But really, if you are going to ask for help on an internet site, at least answer questions about what you are asking about-----
