Hot rod fan shroud building a how to article using fiberglass

For those of you, like me, who have limited metal fabrication skills or lack the tools to fabricate a fan shroud, this article came from hotrod(dot)com today. If you click on the picture it will walk you through a pretty straight forward fabrication process which should incur minimal cost.

    Very cool (pun intended)....

Fiberglass is a wonderful product and I use it often for all kinds of projects. It's easy to shape, sand, finish and it's dielectric so can also be a great insulator. The shroud is just another innovative application.

Neat. When I form fiberglass I usually make a form from poster board and lay the glass directly on the posterboard, and it soaks up the resin, and becomes one with the part.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
