Well if someone here would like to post some pixels for me, I'll happily forward them.

Oh, and I have no idea what that extensive acronym portents or deciphers.

Meanwhile I think the MEK has done all it's going to. I've drained it (yuk!) And will do the diesel and chain tumble next.

FB77, you can flip-em to me and I'll post-em up. But it won't be 'til later in the day / evening.

I have no idea what "TNSTAAFL, or some prefer the acronym TANSTAAFL. " means either!!!

In other words, why should anyone give you storage space with free access without getting anything in return? The early reason, a few years back was to get a bunch of "customers" locked in, and then turn on the charges.

The first tumble with about four gallons of diesel produced an equally disgusting amount of goop.

The next tumble with maybe two gallons looks like it just might have some hope.

Now i'm giving it an extended run with another couple gallons of diesel.

Several hours of tumble, it drained very dark (black) but no more goop clumps.

Two more gallons of diesel, and I tightened the belt tension to spin in a higher gear (faster).

I don't honestly know the rated volume of that monster, but I believe it was near full when it was parked, judging from the goo in the bottom.

I don't envy me either. This tank is HEAVY. And it's near POLISHED inside, so I've got to figure out a replacement sending unit, and muscle it back into position.

I had an oil filter relocation kit for a dodge 318 sitting around, so I figured I would see if I could use it to filter the diesel for another tumble.

I looked around at my accumulated stuffs, but didn't have a spare filter that fit. BUT - would you believe - a used filter from my craftsman mower fit.

Anyway, I expected the diesel would gravity feed through. Nope. Only a trickle. I guess oil filters only operate under pressure.

Yes, and the gas filters for say a lawn mower.. there are gravity filters and powered filters. If you are going to drain it by gravity, be sure the filter you choose is for gravity feed. For what you're trying to do - I'd think a sediment filter with a glass bowl would be fine.

I'm just burning it in a bucket.

One final tumble in the morning with the diesel that's in it, then I'll remove the chains and spin a gallon of gas to wash it clean.

I advertised the rotisserie on Craig's list and I think it's sold.

Is it cookin CHICKEN next? LOL..
