Hole at bottom of timing chain cover
Hey everyone, new to the boards here. I have a question that I cannot for the life of me find an answer for. I have a mark IV BBC and the timing chain cover has a hole at the bottom right below the crank shaft. My oil pan also has a hole that matches up to it. These holes are not threaded and they lead to nowhere. Anyone have any ideas on what the hole is for?
