How do you set timing useing vacuum guage?

Advance time to draw highest vacuum---then retard until vacuum drops by what amount or percent?

Also set air mixture the same way---adjust mixture screws to highest amount vacuum then adjust to drop vacuum?


check timing with lite to make sure total timing is not above 34 degree?
