You don't need to be an expert when it comes to buying a wiring harness and doing it yourself. the companies that make them, build them so you don't have to pay a guy $1000 to wire your car. believe me, it's not that hard. you can spend between $200 - $350 for a harness depending on all the bells and whistles you want. Take a weekend and you can have it in no time. D.I.Y is the way to go.
