    Yes the oil I put in it was Royal Purple. Should I drain it out and put the Royal Purple break in oil in.

    Yes, drain the synthetic, replace with RP Break In Oil, and save the synthetic for your first oil change after the break in is done.

    Why did you waste money on a junk pile sbc when you could have gotten a decent engine in the first place?
