    Saw these today on a 1930 Woody. Are they originals?

    Not original to Ford, though they were an aftermarket offering back when. That style of venting was common to Chevrolet as well as a few others. Rootlieb makes a set of Ford hood sides with doors like those.

    Bob is right on, Have had Rootlieb make me 4 or 5 like that for 32's. Gets em scratchin their heads.

    Thanks guys. At first I thought it was a Chevy as we were approaching it, but didn't see the 4th vent, then saw the blue oval and had to go back and take pictures. It also looked too good that it didn't look like someone had grafted Chevy vents into the side of original hood sides...
