Holbart 210
Bought a new welder, in title, was going to go to .023 wire for some sheet metal and it wouldn't feed. went to change the roller around and it is the same on both sides. All my other welders you would just flip the roller around when you changed to smaller wire. Anyone run into this? Going to email them and see what they say, just caught me by surprise.

Not where I can check but I think the base roller works for 0.030" and 0.035" wire. I think you'll need a new wheel to drive 0.023" wire.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Mine will feed .023 but you have to really crank down on the roller tension, I even made some shims to give me more tension. With that being said, your not going to like the .023 and will go back to the .035....
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
