    CNC Mill work needed

    Hey all,

I have a .dxf file I need someone to cut for me. It is a simple oval badge that is flat with a bull nose and some .125 surface milling to be done. Check the below picture.

Can anyone here help me out?

I have a CNC, but at only 3.375''x1.5'' it is too small for any cutter I would have. My CNC has a 4hp spindle on a 4'x8' table. The smallest bit I will use is a .125'' tappered bullnose. At that size, the tool paths would overlap & the lettering would be a mess. I have an engraver that would do detail that small, but I'm limited to engraving plastic with that machine. (You didn't say what substrate you wanted this cut into). To get tack sharp results on a tag that small you should be asking for a lazer engraver.

It would be cut from .250" 6061.

I didn't even think of Laser. I have a friend that has done stuff for my firearms. He can't cut the emblem out though.

Would you be willing to cut just the oval out of .250 6061 and do a .250 radius bullnose edge on it? Also, the tooling marks in the letters wouldnt be that big of an issue as I will be filling the letters in with paint.
