the Fords are easy--take the drums off(may have to back off the shoe adjuster screws for clearance) inside there is a hole in the bolt circle on the axle end thru which you can put a socket to remove the four nuts on the studs holding the bearing retainer plate. If the axle won't come out easy then you can hammer it some with a lead hammer and/or put the drum backwards over the axle studs with 2 or 3 nuts just started a turn or two and use it like a slide hammer to bump the azle toward you --usually comes out fairly easy-----------after the axles are out the pumpkin can be removed easy-- pay attention to what position the brake shoes are in as one of them has more lining than the other---primary/secondary thingie!!!!!!!!!!!
