As far as I know, Downs never made a '40 Ford coupe body. The made several '37 models. I did another google search and came up with a website for the current owners of the Downs product line. Downs quit making car bodies, soon after I placed the order for my '37 OZE, in 2013. At that time, I wanted to buy a '37 truck with '40 rear fenders as a roller, but they no longer made a chassis for the body. They told me to try Lucky 7 for the chassis. Down used to have the ability to make custom chassis, rollers and complete cars.
