angeloftheroad, You're freind was correct. On the right side of the tranny (passenger side) You will see what looks like a little bolt sticking out. I do believe it will take an 8mm wrench, whay you need to do is have the car up high enough to get to it, but the car MUST be level. The red cap is the fluid fill only start the car up and let it idle in park, now u might need 2 people one to add the fluid and the other to take out the bolt. The tranny is full when the Atf just starts to trickle out. I know it's a pain, but that is the only way to check the fluid. If the ATF is discolord or smells burnt it might be a good time to flush it. That should be performed by a qualified Auto Technision. I hope this helps good luck and remember to use jackstands.
