Back in October you posted, looking for someone to put your engine together (link - looking for a mechanic in inland empire asap to put together ), saying the block was in place and everything else was in boxes? Can't the guy who put it together start it?Roger

Ya been workin on car for about a year now off an on I bought the car with the block set In already with heads on it all freshly rebuilt am myself have just doing all the bolt ons like alternator an the pulleys fuel pump just the easy stuff am not a mechanic but have learn as I go am looking for a mechanic to do the finish touches hope Some one can help . Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
