    My first car was a '47 Dodge 4-dr. You could stretch your legs out straight in the back seat.

    Not sure about the glowing speedo. I don't remember that.
    I do remember racing a '50 Ford on a narrow road between the drag strip and home in Dayton. The old Dodge was packed with guys, maybe 6 or 8 of us and I was doing an indicated 85 mph on a narrow road, side by side with the '50, across narrow culverts and hell-bent for leather on questionable second-hand tires.....port-a-walls flappin' in the wind.....I have no idea how we survived our youth.......
