    Identifying Ford Engine

     



    I have a car that my uncle built and he passed away several years ago. Im trying to find out what motor it has in it. Im thinking it may be a Ford 289. Can anyone confirm if thats correct? Thank you

    Looks like it may be in the family of 221/260/289/302.. Is there any tag on the dizzy or the carb? If you can pull a valve cover, there may be a 289 or 302 cast in it.
