If you're talking a good IFS with tubular control arms and forged spindles, it's a good setup---don't forget to get an anti-sway bar with it! As others have cautioned, don't go with the lowest bidder on eBay, they probably won't be around tomorrow to answer questions or take care of parts replacement!!!!! Heidt's is a quality unit, I've installed a bunch of them and never had problems. Some folks who say "MII suspension" get exactly that, stamped arms with stock springs, shocks, and spindles taken off some donor car that suffered through who knows how much abuse in it's first life!!!! I have seen these fail, sometimes with catastrophic results.

I personally don't like a solid axle in the front, they didn't work that great in the 20's when they were designed and they still aren't that much better IMO.... But, if you go with a solid front axle, again watch out for the cheap import junk!!!! In the last couple years there has been a number of broken axles with the expected results!!!!!!

Whichever way you decide to go, shop for QUALITY COMPONENTS from an established company!

Right now I'm leaning towards the Full Tilt Street Rod setup. The price is great and the "Ford into Ford" lower control arms are a great problem solver. Here's the kit....Mustang II IFS front suspension, Hub to Hub IFS, tubular control arms, crossmembers

Haven't ever used their stuff, looks to be ok in the pics..... Might want to match it up with Heidt's, Fat Man, and TCI.......
