If it it a #6, go to a GM dealer-they are required in their Special Tools program to have one of these (we are a GM Dealer, and, we had to buy this Tool), and it will make a 3/8" (-6) o-ring flare on tubing:

I used some adapter fittings from Speedway, mine were metric but they do have a set for a Mustang rack that includes a 1/2"-20, 9/16"-18, 5/8"-18, and 11/16"-18. Billet Specialties 77901 Power Steering Adapter Kit - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop
