well, here's the deal, i have the original 289 in right now and it needs a complete rebuild and a 78 351w that would also need a rebuild. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money(around 1500) on this and will need to finish within the next 4 months because i am leaving for the military. Which engine would give me significant performance and also fit my budget?
