Really not trying to rain on anyone's parade, thing is no matter who's tune, with a tunnel ram you still going to give up some bottom just for a look.
You didn't tell us much about the spec's of the engine,SCR/DCR,heads,cam matching SCR/,bottom end, carb(s). So I have to assume that isn't up to the tasks at hand.Last edited by 1gary; 04-27-2013 at 12:37 PM.

"Give up some bottom just for a look"... Excuse me? Im new here but didn't think this was one of those kind of sites? LOL I don't give a crap what it looks like I want to use it in the vintage class @ the Barona 1/8 mile. whatever?
Parade rain or not, Im looking for a distributor that will fit.
Without getting into all the spring rates and B.S. numbers. The engine is a 68 327 L79 with a level 4 Crower cam. A couple of the cute little "no go Holley's" on top. Ole school reworked 291 camel back heads all hooked up to a vintage but fresh Bang Bang power glide. Its going to be a point A to point B car not a commuter. I would say Bar hopper but that isn't PC anymore.
It will run just fine but I need a spark box that will fit.
Thanks for the help here guysLast edited by M.T.1; 04-27-2013 at 11:19 PM.

Well said, M.T.1., well said. A little 327 screamer should indeed "...run just fine" in the eighth. That White Performance Dizzy might be the answer to another guy's question for one of those nifty old dual quad manifolds that won't work any more
Now to see if I can find that thread.... Post up some pictures of the A if you get a chance!
