If your harness doesn't have the fusible link, it's a good idea to install a Maxi fuse to protect the wiring...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

what size fuse line would you use?

I would put a 40A Maxi Fuse on each of the main (red wires you were wondering about) leads. Might be a bit of overkill, but I sure wouldn't want to burn up my brand new wiring harness (and possibly the whole car and the shop it's in) because I didn't bother with a couple fuses!!!!!!
