Methylated spirits would be another option.
It will soak up the water, kill any yeast residue, and sterilise it all in one go.
And when you tip it out, should you leave some behind, it will quickly and harmlessly evaporate

Mehtylated Spirits is a common name for Denatured Alcohol, while Heet is a product name for Methanol, or Methyl Alcohol. We're saying the same thing for the last step. Just a question of whether there's any grime in there that needs soap.
