I run 69 351 W heads on my 302 the threaded hole is in the heads no bolt hole in the intake. That would be the same as a new 351 intake on old heads. Issue would be putting an old intake with the existing extra 4 holes on a new engine. Fix would be to plug the unused bolt holes.

I put a '69 manifold on newer heads. The extra holes didn't matter, but I threaded them and put allen head set screws in just for looks.

Thanks for the help. We are putting the manifold on, using the gaskets made for the 16-hole manifold.
