    Intake Fit!

     



    Hello All-Scuzzy here n I found an Intake for a 226 Ford Flathead Six-They Clame its for a 40-48 but the 226 was made in a G that ran from start of Engine to October of 47 n the H series started n ran to the end-51, I thought all the Intakes were the same n would fit all 226 Motors, evin if they dont I would think all G n all H were the same n if that Manifold fits a 48 its a year into the H, its a TriPower Manifold n I would like just a 2 Carb setup-Can I run the Front n Back Carbs n run a Cap under the Center Carb? Please Help! Thanks in advance! Scuzzy

    I can't say if the fit will work as I am not a "flatty" guy. As far as running 3 carbs and only hooking up 2, you will have 3 hoses going to all the carbs. How will you NOT have gas go to the middle? The only way I see this beng done is not having 3 hoses which will not look that good with 3 carbs. Something I think you need to re-think.
