1959 apache steering column problem







Hi, wonderring if there is anyone out there that could help me with my 1959 chev apache fleetside.
the truck is updated, and from what i believe a later s10 or later chev steering tilt column, it currently has a blazer style steering wheel and i would like to go to the original style 3 spoke wheel or a similiar butterfly wheel. i purchased a classic industries wheel, but the wheel bottoms out on the blinker assembly before the shakt can even come in contact with the spline,.. 36teeth.
Has anyone had this problem, i am not sure if i need to search for an aftermarket hub?, blinker assembly? or steering shaft conversion?
