That sounds like the port for the Thermactor System. The air pump used to connect to those ports via a metal tube that crossed between the 2 heads and then a hose to the air pump. The EPA says no you can't block'em off -
yeah, right.....
They make a lot of noise without anything to quiet down the sound, don't they?!?!
