yep aluminum and chrome do not work good were a bolt or nut going to get TQ up it pops off . try cleaning it good .set rim facing up brush some west system epoxy on the chip or a epoxy of that type but they maybe clear but a shade of amber but will hold it down the best . clear could work PPG Dau 75 clear is made to go right on aluminum and sticks very good to raw aluminum but you do not need much and hard to find
