I was using just a small screwdriver, so I think the larger screwdriver and the paint stick will work good... Tape on the window is a good idea. It's easiest to get at the clip with the wipers in the straight up position. knowing me, I'd put them back on as if it was the parked position and I'd end up with a headache. Of course the wipers don't work but In NYS they have to be there, in good condition and tight to the window, but it's not required for them to be able to sweep.. I'm just going to use Rainx..
